A Call to Action: San Diego County!

We all complain about our gun rights being taken away.
Rarely do we have an opportunity to directly prevent that from happening.
That opportunity is this Wednesday evening.

On Feb 18th at 6pm the Carlsbad Planning Commission will have a hearing to decide if they will allow a gun range to open in the city of Carlsbad.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We need 200 people to show. You don’t need to say anything, just a show of presence. 45 minutes of you time is all we are asking!
This is your opportunity to show that the gun community won’t be pushed around! We will stand up for our rights and we will stand by each other!

All the details are here: www.guntherguns.com Basically, the city of Carlsbad is trying to stop an indoor gun range from being built.

We have all the speakers we need ready to go. All we need you to do is show and sit in the audience with a sticker we will provide that will show your support for allowing the range to be built.

For those attending:
– This is NOT a protest. We are there to support a local business owner who wants to build a recreational gun range for the residents of Carlsbad.
– Please do not wear clothes with logos or slogans or anything that even may be considered offensive.
– Please do not wear camouflage, tactical gear, hunting clothes or shooting vests, NRA or GOC hats, or range wear. Your work clothes are best.
– Please show everyone that gun owners are the polite, respectful, involved people that we all know each other to be.

Here’s the info:
Where: Carlsbad City Hall
Address: 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive
Time: 6:00pm
Date: February 18th, Wednesday

We’ll talk more about this at the monthly GOC activist meeting on Tuesday the 17th at Coco’s in UTC starting at 6:30pm. I know that makes back to back meetings. I’d love to see everyone at both, but if you must make a choice, the Carlsbad meeting on Wednesday is the priority.

Thank you all!
