“A suspected intruder attacked two sisters, 75 and 64, in their Georgia home earlier this week — but police said the younger sister pulled out a gun and fired three shots, killing him, WJAX-TV reported.
Deputies told the station they received a 911 call about a burglary in progress at the Folkston home about 8 p.m. Tuesday, but when officers arrived they found the suspect — indentified as 40-year-old Jonathan Green, WJXT-TV reported — lying unresponsive near the street in front of the house.
The 64-year-old sister told police she was attacked from behind after the suspect broke in, but she got away and armed herself with small-caliber pistol, WJXT reported. After she shot the suspect, he exited through the front door, the station added.
The 75-year-old sister had a cut on her head; her younger sister received minor injuries. They were taken to a hospital to be checked.”
