ISIS Had BEST Be Scared After Finding Out Who Norway Just Sent To Fight Them.

“Norway is apparently fed up with the Islamic State terrorist group (ISIS) and will be joining several other nations in sending forces to combat them, but they’re not just sending regular soldiers.

Dozens of soldiers from the Norwegian “Punishers,” a battalion so fierce that even an American veteran said they’re a force to be reckoned with, have been mobilized to head to Iraq and take on ISIS in their own territory, and they’re not playing around. According to MailOnline, the Telemark Battalion is a mechanized infantry unit of the Norwegian Army known for using the comic book “Punisher” symbol to strike fear into their enemies, and they have seen many battles against the Taliban since 2003 as a part of NATO security forces.

Roughly 50 soldiers from the elite squad are on their way to the northern Iraqi city of Irbil to train Kurdish forces in their fight against the brutal terrorist group. Norway will also be sending instructors to the capital city of Baghdad in hopes of stopping an insurgency that has allowed ISIS to take over large portions of Iraq and neighboring Syria.

While in Afghanistan in 2010, the Telemarks became well-known for painting the skull featured in the Punisher comics on houses and buildings that belonged to suspected members of the Taliban. Upon the loss of one of their team, Claes Joachim Olsson in January 2010, members of the group reportedly wore patches featuring the skull with the words, “Jokke – we will never forget.” Jokke, as he was called by his team, was only 22 when a roadside bomb placed by Taliban insurgents exploded underneath his storm tank and killed him.

Following Olsson’s death, a video emerged of the squad’s commander, Major Rune Wenneberg, rallying his troops for battle with an inspiring chant referencing Valhalla, the mystical hall of Norse mythology where the best warriors go after they’re killed in combat.

“You are the predator. Taliban is the prey. To Valhalla!,” Wenneberg is seen shouting as his troops raise their rifles in support.”
